My client has an exciting opportunity for an Engineeer / Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a unique position; it is working client side leading Planned and reactive / breakdown maintenance


A key part of the position is to ensure that the quality of technical work is of a high standard and in compliance with statutory requirements, leading a small team of engineers.

They are looking for somebody with a Mechanical Background ideally with CHP or heat and cooling plant background.

Role

  • Overall responsibility for asset management of the company's district heating, power and chilled water generation, distribution and supply network apparatus
  • Develop and implement PPM schedules through the effective deployment of staff and contract resources
  • Responsible for the performance of the Engineering Services Team
  • Assist with preparation of annual Operations Budgets in relation to the company's O+M Service Plan
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry statutory instruments and safety procedures including electrical, gas combustion, PSSR, etc.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification
  • Experience working with CHP Generation
  • Supervisory experience of teams

Package

  • Salary upto £45k
  • Monday to Friday 40 hours (7:30am to 4pm)
