Our client, a leading Global Investment Bank are seeking to appoint an experienced Sanctions specialist to join their Birmingham team.

As the Sanctions specialist you will have a broad remit and have extensive experience providing advisory services to the business and as such will have detailed understanding of regulation governing the International Sanctions regimes as well as previously worked within a large, complex financial institution.

Key experience:
Previous experience working within a Sanctions Advisory role
Excellent stakeholder management and business facing skills
Excellent knowledge of relevant AML and Sanctions regulation and Sanctions regimes
Previous experience working within financial services, ideally an Investment Bank
Extensive understanding of UN, UK, EU and US Sanctions legislation to propose timely and pragmatic recommendations to escalations to appropriately manage sanctions risk
