A new and exciting role, the Wellbeing Support Worker will be part of a friendly and dedicated team providing and coordinating effective social, pre-bereavement, emotional, and social support for patients and clients across all North Yorkshire Hospice Care services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of dedicated team to provide a pre-bereavement service offering support and advice to patients and clients across all North Yorkshire Hospice Care services, their carers and family members.
The Health and Wellbeing Support Worker will be actively involved in the provision of social cafés, support groups, 1-1 support and training to deliver our commitment to personalised and responsive care and support.
Collaborative working skills are essential to this role, as are being adaptable to change and having a good understanding of and ability to develop resilience at an individual and organisational level
Our Well-Being Team work across the Harrogate and rural area, Hambleton & Richmondshire.
We are based at Saint Michaels Hospice Harrogate and in central Thirsk - soon to be situated in the new Herriot at the Lambert building.
A willingness to travel throughout the district with access to your own vehicle is essential.
You will be joining an organisation that is driven, caring, and responsive and you will be playing an important role in enabling us to provide our highly valued services to the people of Harrogate, Hambleton, Richmondshire, and District.
