Job Title: Senior Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced social care professional to join our supported living service in Harrogate as a Senior Support Worker.

About the Role:

The Senior Support Worker will be a key link between support staff and management, responsible for the day-to-day running of the service. The role will involve:

  • Lone working 1:1 with individuals
  • Working on shift to ensure the smooth operation of the service
  • Managing the emotional wellbeing of the people we support
  • Supporting and mentoring other members of the team
  • Dealing with any problems that arise on shift
  • Ensuring good practice is adhered to at all times
  • Accompanying the people we support in the community
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience in social care and be able to balance the needs of the service, the Support Workers, and the people we support. A full driving license is also required.

This role will involve elements of weekend and evening work as well as sleep-in shifts, so flexibility is essential. Successful applicants will be subject to a full DBS check, cost met by United Response.
