Key responsibilities:

  • Identifying potential clients using market intelligence and generating Sales leads, targeting Tier 1 and Tier 2 client accounts across the Middle East.
  • Pro-active targeting of potential clients, including but not limited to: cold-calling, attending events, conferences and roadshows.
  • Mapping out the Institutional client base within the region, developing and implementing bespoke strategies in order to generate capital.
  • Working closely with internal teams in order to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring client retention through cross-selling opportunities.
  • Executing a seamless and tailored service for the client, guiding them throughout the Sales process all the way through to close.

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 5 years of pure fundraising/Sales experience covering the Middle East.
  • A strong network of Institutional clients in the Middle East.
  • Exceptional and demonstrated ability to retain client relationships in this region, with a strong understanding of Shariah-compliant funds.
  • Technical expertise spanning multiple asset classes desired.
  • Self starter with a collaborative attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Arabic-speakers ideal but not required.
