Circa £47,500 depending on experience

Location:
Bolton/Stevenage (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)

Dynamic (hybrid) working:
2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance:
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The Opportunity:
Are you enthusiastic about managing critical supplier subcontracts? Do you possess expertise in offering commercial advice and are eager to collaborate with suppliers?

As a Procurement Subcontract Specialist for Major Equipment Procurement (MEP), you will collaborate with our suppliers to empower MBDA in delivering cutting-edge defense capabilities for our Home Nations and their Allies. Leading subcontracts and obligations throughout the entire missile and missile systems life cycle, you will project manage the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of valuable and intricate sub-systems. Additionally, you will provide commercial guidance internally, manage risks and opportunities to protect MBDA's interests.

  • Experience in procurement subcontract management, including negotiations, contract specifics, and conditions
  • Ability to problem-solve daily and adept at reaching resolutions
  • Enthusiastic about providing continuous support and collaboration to senior internal and external clients
  • Proactively seek improvement opportunities, analyze situations, present alternatives while managing risks
