Role and Responsibilities
Your key purpose is to be responsible for overseeing and managing Emmanuel House accommodation services.
You will be exceptionally well organised and an excellent communicator, ensuring high standards of operational delivery while manging and organising staff and volunteers.
High level of autonomy over how you develop the role.Proven ability to create and manage budgets
Being the lead and central person around which accommodation services operate.
Develop and implement the housing management plan.
In collaboration with finance staff develop systems for rent setting and collection.
Supervision of staff.
Preparation and management of budgets.
Set annual strategic plans for the development of accommodation services.
Great personal organisation, management, and communication skills.
Relationships with beneficiaries, volunteers and staff.
Emmanuel House provides services for people who are homeless.
It is an independent charity that has served Nottingham for nearly fifty years.
The organisation has grown significantly as a quality provider, achieving excellent results for people in need, especially in the provision of respite accommodation and supporting people into more secure accommodation arrangements.
A consequence of this has been the increase in the quality and number of bed spaces we provide.We are looking to appoint a person who is enthusiastic about the mission of Emmanuel House and has the ability to develop and deliver accommodation services.
The post holder will be based with Emmanuel House Support Centre in Nottingham City Centre with some flexible working.The successful candidate will be subject to DBS and reference checks.
