As a Band 5 RMN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with mental health conditions.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Your primary goal will be to promote and maintain the mental health and well-being of your patients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and risk assessments
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Administering medication and monitoring its effectiveness
  • Providing therapeutic interventions and support
  • Assisting patients with activities of daily living
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
  • Offering emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
  • Educating patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate patient records

The Airedale Mental Health Unit, located in Keighley, West Yorkshire, is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to delivering high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health conditions.


Working Hours and Payment:

This is a temporary position with a start date of 05/02/2024 and end date of 06/02/2024. The shift will start at 19:30:00 and end at 08:00:00. As a Band 5 RMN, you will receive a competitive payment rate of £270 per shift. The payment will be made through
PAYE, ensuring ease and reliability in receiving your salary.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively within a team
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature
