About Our Client:

As the Sales Ledger Specialist you will take ownership of the accounts receivable function, building & maintaining relationships with large customers and maintain the AR ledger across 4 entities.

The key responsibilities of the Sales Ledger Specialist include:

  • Raising and sending sales invoices
  • Management of customer portals and relationships, including complex query management & ownership
  • Ensuring strict timescales are met when raising AR invoices, in order to maximise cashflow
  • Management of client billing cycles, ensuring payments are received and tracked accurately
  • Working in partnership with internal relationship manager of key customer accounts and offerings
  • Working with relationship managers to ensure revenue model offerings are current and up to date
  • Allocating processed payments to the ledger
  • Tracking company revenue throughout the group and debt management
  • Cash flow reconciliations and assisting with reporting
  • Taking ownership of credit control where required
  • Reporting on aged debt both weekly and monthly
  • Adhoc support as required by the wider finance team

The Successful Applicant:

The successful Sales Ledger Specialist with have:

  • Proven experience working within a multi-entity group
  • Strong understanding of Sales Ledger function
  • Had some exposure to working on customer management portals
  • Desirable
  • Be proficient in Sage
  • Strong Excel skills including lookups,pivots
  • Strong communicator
  • A positive working attitude, a keen learner, not afraid to ask questions
  • AAT studiers preferable but not essential
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Highly accurate and a keen eye for detail
