Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Manager in supervising on-site personnel.
- Lead by example, ensuring safety standards and quality of work.
- Take a leadership role on-site, implementing the site safety plan.
- Ensure employees have necessary training and expertise for safe work.
- Manage labor resources for efficiency and subcontractor hours.
- Oversee subcontractor activities and progress against schedule.
- Maintain communication with subcontractors and address performance issues.
- Conduct performance management and report incidents as needed.
- Verify materials match project specifications before installation.
- Implement the project quality plan and close out snag lists promptly.
- Participate in project handover to the client.
- Ensure project scope adherence and manage any additional works with Project Manager approval.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Trade or Degree qualified in electrical discipline.
- 8+ years in construction management, with experience in Data Centre projects.
- Strong people management skills to motivate teams and subcontractors.
- Excellent understanding of design and construction processes.
