Responsibilities for this position may include:

  • Identifying global optimization opportunities through Chevron's Gas and LNG portfolio
  • Analyzing gas monetization opportunities with various stakeholders
  • Developing scenarios on Gas/LNG production profiles, risk appetites, and shipping constraints
  • Creating monthly AOP materials and collaborating with global teams
  • Driving Carbon footprinting activities
  • Completing value chain lookbacks for margin improvement
  • Monitoring Short-Term Plan execution and proposing necessary changes
  • Preparing monthly gross margin lookbacks and identifying improvement efforts
  • Promoting open communication and collaboration across functions
  • Working on projects to enhance Chevron's LNG margin

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated analytic problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of LNG scheduling, trading, decision analysis, or data science
  • Experience in LNG production planning and trading is desirable
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to execute strategies and business plans effectively
  • Experience in portfolio optimization software is advantageous
  • Ability to shift between tactical execution and strategic planning
