The Team
The Insight & Evaluation team at Energy Saving Trust plays a vital role in generating data, conducting research, and creating impactful content. From calculating energy efficiency savings to studying consumer attitudes towards government policies, the team covers a wide range of responsibilities.

Colleagues in this team collaborate closely to share insights and tackle complex challenges, emphasizing a culture of knowledge-sharing and development.

The Role

  • As a Consultant in the Insight and Evaluation team, you will report to a Senior Consultant and contribute to data analysis for policy recommendations in line with our climate emergency mission.
  • Joining a team with over two decades of research experience, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse evaluation and research projects.
  • Utilize your existing skills and gain new expertise in a dynamic work environment.

What You'll Do

  • Support project delivery by analyzing data to identify emission savings and propose program enhancements.
  • Engage in primary research through interviews, focus groups, and online surveys.
  • Conduct analysis on qualitative and quantitative data to prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong planning, prioritization, and communication skills to deliver excellent customer service.

What You'll Bring

  • Proficiency in social research and evaluation techniques.
  • Experience in telephone interviews and focus group moderation.
  • Track record of managing research and evaluation projects.
  • Ability to produce high-quality reports for funders and stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across different levels.
