This is a part time position with regular shifts throughout the week to fit in with the staff member's life.

The role will involve occasional weekend work to meet prospective Brides and Grooms.

Our Events department hosts Weddings, Conferences, Hog Roasts, Dinner Dances and indoor/outdoor events of all kinds.

The Beechdown Club enjoys an outstanding reputation for quality of food and service delivery and has a five star rating for hygiene.

You will have use of our extensive gym, pool and leisure facilities. There's free parking and you'll receive free meals and free drinks on duty.

The Key Responsibilities
Taking incoming enquiries from potential clients regarding weddings, meetings and other events.

Assisting the F&B Manager and Events team to determine pricing and promotions

Organising venue viewings with prospective clients and fostering relationships with them from an initial enquiry through to their event day

To arrange bookings, table plans and allocate work to team members.

Arranging with others to update the website and other online advertising channels.

Oversight of facilities and premises management - ensuring the venue is clean, tidy and presentable at all times

Administer weddings and events from the initial booking through to the event day itself

To ensure conferences and events are carried out according to client contract including room layout, equipment hire, etc.

To collate costs and ensure invoices are sent correctly

Carry out post-event calls to the organiser to ensure client satisfaction

Looking for new strategies to grow and improve the business.

Conduct regular research to ensure we are competitive in our market

Maintain accurate and up to date records and information from a sales and operational perspective

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Smart personal presentation and polite and friendly manner
  • Passionate about delivering the highest standards of customer care
  • Excellent standards of spoken English
  • Previous experience gained in Meetings and Events

Job Types:

Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary:
£12.00-£13.50 per hour
