We are looking for a

PPA Contract Manager | Edinburgh

Working in the Contract Management department, the candidate will manage all contracts related to energy sales concluded by the company in the UK & Nordic energy and environmental market.

In particular, the candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Drafting and management of all contracts concluded by Energy Management & Sales mainly in the UK but also in other foreign countries;
  • Ensuring for each contract the compliance to the requirements of the internal authorization process regarding counterparties and contracts;
  • Supporting EM&S team to analyze and monitor market regulations to check impacts on the energy business and in the assets' contracts;
  • Conducting contracts analysis with other EM&S departments to verify obligations and ongoing adherence to market rules;
  • Long-term electricity sales (PPA)
  • Taking care and managing relationships with TSO/Grid Operator/Market Operator to achieve and fulfill contractual provisions;
  • Supporting the Sales department in the review of contracts and in the management of the activities necessary to finalize them until signature.

Desired skills and knowledge:

  • At least 5 years work experience in the contract management role.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory framework of the energy markets (UK and Nordic mkt).
  • Good knowledge of the energy markets, market rules application and its operators.
  • Previous experience on relationship management with TSO/Grid Operator/Market Operator
  • Good economic knowledge (e.g. income statement structure, balance sheet, utilities).
  • IT skills: advanced use of Office Tools; basic use of ERP system (SAP), VBA, SQL and similar programming languages; management of IT portals.
  • Advanced knowledge of English is required.
