Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and passion media planner who is looking to step up into an Account Director role. This role will focus on EMEA markets for a Global Beauty client.

What you'll be doing:

You'll build strong relationships with key client accounts, ensuring that we have positive and productive relationships with our clients and agency partners. The Account Director will ensure the management of workflow amongst the team, leading the team with the support of your senior to ensure the strong account management and campaign delivery. You'll ensure junior members of the team are supported, actively supporting their goals, working on their feedback and progression. While ensuring that their work outputs meet expectations set out.

You will be executing client objectives, driving high quality work across a range of paid media channels and ensuring the clients ambitious is at the heart of their planning work. A strong understanding of paid media and ability to guide and inform clients on the media landscape will be very beneficial in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the agency and clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction
  • Lead and execute cross channel media recommendations end to end, be it annual planning or bespoke planning projects that ladder up to Global strategy as set by business.
  • Ensure timelines and deliverable deadlines are being adhered to by channel specialist teams.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, working with relevant teams to gain Insights, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Responsible for the management, coaching and development for thePlanning Manager
  • Ensure the profitability of the account by managing all financial aspects are accurate and delivered on-time (e.g., reconciliations, payments, billings, financial tracking).
  • Workingwith the Business Directortolook for opportunities for driving revenue growth.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a client service / media planning role at manager level, gaining a solid understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising.
  • A thorough understanding of all media touchpoints andhavethe ability todefine the tasks for media and content, develop channel roles and investment priorities based around tasks.
  • Experience in managing and presenting to senior marketing clients.
  • Have proven experience at maintaining and exceeding client objectives and measurement KPIs.
  • Helps foster a safe, collaborative and friendly working environment where people can be authentic and deliver their best work.
  • Comms planning mindset is very useful
