Full Time Key Stage 1 (KS1) Position – Starting in September 2024

Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a Primary School in Blackpool seeking a committed and dynamic ECT to join their KS1 team on a full-time basis from the upcoming academic year.

The main responsibility is to collaborate with other KS1 educators in delivering lessons to a larger than average Year 1 class. The school is searching for an enthusiastic Teacher who can consistently motivate learners by ensuring interactive and engaging lessons. Ideally, candidates should have expertise in English and a solid understanding of phonics.

Given the high levels of English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) students, the school requires an adaptable ECT who can create an inclusive learning environment for all children.

This is a full-time position commencing in September 2024 and lasting for a complete year. The possibility of transitioning to a permanent contract might be on the horizon for the right candidate. It presents an excellent opportunity for an ECT eager to dive into a full-time teaching role with continuous support and mentorship. The school will guide the successful candidate through the initial stages of their ECT term and provide ongoing feedback and assistance.

To qualify for this role, you should:

- Hold a PGCE or Education Studies degree and possess QTS

- Have recent experience teaching in KS1

- Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and behavior management skills

- Be in search of a long-term teaching position and capable of committing to at least 1 year

- Exhibit a positive work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional lessons across all subjects
