Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing and executing SharePoint Online information architecture engagements, performing content migrations, and developing custom business solutions using SharePoint, the Power Platform, Azure, and other Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Ensure the operational health of the Microsoft Office 365 environment, including security, availability, performance, interoperability and reliability.
  • Maintain and sustain existing SharePoint sites and sub sites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, and items).
  • Train and educate endusers on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, Teams, Yammer, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot various Office 365 issues including connectivity and mobility.
  • Perform discovery and gather requirements with client stakeholders to determine their needs as it pertains to collaboration, governance, security, compliance, etc.
  • Both design and implement clientspecific information architectures based on industry bestpractices in the following focus areas:
  • Branding
  • Search & navigation
  • Site structure, topology, and organization of content
  • Use and configuration of Microsoft 365 Groups, Teams, Hub Sites, Home Sites, etc.
  • Governance
  • Sensitivity Labels, use of Content Types, use of metadata
  • Permissions and content retention
  • Conduct routine monitoring and analysis to include Audit Log Reports evaluation, system and storage utilization reports, site and system usage, growth reports, and manage site collection quota settings.

Job Requirements (Education and Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT field or at least 5 years of experience in a related field required.
  • Good experience administering O365, Azure Active Directory and SharePoint environment.
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency with Office 365 Suite, especially SharePoint Online and Teams, bestpractice implementation, and administration.
  • Experience with onpremises SharePoint (SP2019, SP2016, SP2013, etc.)
  • Prior experience with mainstream migration tools
  • ShareGate, AvePoint, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Power Platform

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Ability to automate business processes and design custom solutions using SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and related M365 workloads
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team across different facets of the organization
  • Solutionoriented with excellent customer service skills backed by strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot
  • Proficient in the reading, writing, and execution of PowerShell scripts
  • Familiarity with multiple domain environments and working knowledge of domain troubleshooting
