Make UK have an opportunity for a personable and passionate individual to join them as a Receptionist at their charming hotel and development centre in Leamington Spa.

As a receptionist at Woodland Grange, you would offer exceptional customer service to guests and visitors for the duration of their stay.


Key responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that guests register on arrival, issued an identity badge, and directed to the correct person/department
  • Operate the telephone switchboard in a prompt and welcoming manner, answering any queries and relaying messages when required
  • Book transport for guests and visitors as required
  • Ensure that an efficient handover is done with staff between shifts
  • Undertake basic clerical work
  • Check residents in and out of the accommodation facilities
  • Responsibility for the efficient handling and security of cash and credit card transactions, together with till floats and key control. To record and balance the cash till on a daily basis.
  • To ensure that accounting procedures are adhered to in accordance with documented systems and to liaise with the Accounts department on a daily basis.
  • Assist the venues team leader with data input of reservations for open training courses and conference hire events
  • To carry out other reasonable duties as may be required.

The successful postholder will have:

  • Experience within a busy hotel/ conference environment (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Professional presentation
  • Passionate, energetic, and confident
  • Passion for the hospitality industry
