We are looking to recruit a part-time service advisor for our busy service department at our Hyundai dealership in Peterborough.

This is a key role, being on the front line of delivering industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction.

Key Duties

  • Ensure the highest level of customer care and satisfaction.
  • Provide estimates to customers and book in scheduled service and repair work.
  • Checkin vehicles when they arrive with us and check them out when work is completed.
  • Record customer requests accurately and ensure these are communicated clearly to the workshop.
  • Keep customers informed and up to date at every stage while their vehicle is in our care, advise of completion times, any delays, and quickly respond to any questions or queries.
  • Prioritise effectively to ensure that customers whose vehicles may need extra work are contacted in a timely manner and advised on a recommended course of action.
  • Create invoices for work carried out.
  • Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the customer database to ensure all information contained within it is accurate.
  • Maximise service department's profitability using professional sales techniques.
  • Ensure customers are aware of all available workshop services.
  • Plan and manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with all customers, dealership colleagues, suppliers, and external representatives.

Working Hours:
Tuesday and Thursday (8am - 6pm).

Salary:
Up to £23,000 (plus bonus) pro rata.

Previous experience working in a similar role with knowledge of CDK Autoline/Kerridge would be beneficial but is not required as full training will be provided.
