Settle, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom National Trust Full time

Peatland restoration in the Yorkshire Dales is being led by the Yorkshire Peat Partnership (YPP) and you'll be joining our team, to help deliver the project.

You'll be the key point of contact between the National Trust and Yorkshire Peat Partnership.

Helping to coordinate the work, keep partners and tenants informed, as well as building your own knowledge and skills around peatland restoration.

What it's like to work here:Here in the Yorkshire Dales we look after some of the most dramatic upland limestone landscape in the country, with many of the distinctive landscape features for which the Dales are so admired.

The Dales provides spiritual refreshment and inspiring activities for all.

It is a place where people experience change and continuous adaptation, through the National Trust's management of its stunning landscapes for water, habitats, wildlife and historic environment in the face of an ever changing climate, for the enjoyment of current and future generations.

This means it will be an active role and you may be out on remote sites, all day, in all weathers, so a good level of physical fitness is needed.

You will have a key role in communicating with others, working closely with our Senior Visitor Services Officer and YPP to plan activities, marketing, media, and community events to promote peatland restoration.

Working closely with our agricultural tenants, ensures open and honest communication and the smooth running of the project on their farms.
