We have a growing a supportive therapy team, and we are looking for 3 Clinical Pathway Leads, for our Emotional, Neurodevelopmental , Conduct and Behavioural pathways. The candidate must be passionate about young people's mental health and wellbeing to join us in the delivery of high quality and effective CAMHS interventions.

The service operates a 9am-5pm Monday -Friday service from the main site in Romford, which is a short walk away from the TFL Elizabeth Line. We are lucky to have both a operational and clinical lead in post improving service delivery to children residing in Havering. We provide access, assessment, treatment following recommended guidance to a growing population of 0-18-year-olds.

We boast of as a fully integrated MDT working alongside and in collaboration with primary care, universal, targeted and specialised MH services, as well as our educational providers and local authority colleagues.

The London Borough of Havering CAMH service, is also working with the national collaborative and The RCPsych to positively focus and influence our service within the Quality Improvement framework.

Main duties of the job This post involves assessing and treating children and young people who present with moderate to severe mental health difficulties in a community CAMHS setting. The successful candidate will work across the Emotional, Neurodevelopmental, Complex and Conduct pathways, leading and supervising their team and other multi-disciplinary team (MDT) members in the management of these cases.

The post holder will coordinate family therapy clinics and formal systemic consultations, as well as supporting MDT and multi-agency colleagues with systemic formulations to support their clinical practice.

The post holder will receive regular clinical supervision and will be expected to attend and participate in MDT team meetings as well as network meetings of cases on their caseload. They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social care professionals and partnership agencies as we promote a trauma informed model of practice within the service. The post holder will be part of the CAMHS leadership team, working with other senior clinicians in the team to develop the service and meet the changing needs of a diverse population. About us Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff). High Cost Area Supplement - London This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary with a minimum payment of 4,313 and a maximum payment of 5,436 per annum (pro rata for part-time). This role requires a post-graduate qualified clinical psychologist/ Family Therapist or psychotherapist for the emotional pathway or registered Nurse/Social Worker/Occupational Therapist who is registered with the appropriate professional and regulatory bodies (NMC, HCPC, GSW, AFT and UKCP) and has at least two years experience in delivering mental health interventions in a CAMHS (or similar child and adolescent mental health) setting.
