Join a successful manufacturing company based in Wymondham, Norfolk as a Lead Production Operative with a competitive salary of £29,749.90 per annum.

As the Lead Production Operative, your role involves overseeing daily operations and providing support for Senior Operator tasks such as maintaining Health and Safety standards, ensuring timely SLA delivery, and managing daily workloads efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate effective coaching skills to lead the team
  • Monitor team productivity and adjust staff allocation to meet SLAs
  • Ensure Operators meet quality and productivity targets
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts and identify process weaknesses
  • Assist in timely delivery of MI reporting
  • Take ownership of personal development and support Operator training
  • Ensure workload balance within the team and collaborate with other teams for overall efficiency
  • Identify and promote job efficiency opportunities

Working Hours:
  • 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm
  • Week 1 – Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Week 2 – Monday and Tuesday

Required Skills:
  • Prior experience in a leadership role in a dynamic production setting
  • Experience in print or automail considered a plus
  • Proficiency in SLA-oriented roles
  • Strong planning, organizing, and work measurement abilities
  • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Desirable: DMAIC Certification
