Warehouse Operative

Salary: £92, plus 15% shift allowance = £27,535
**About the Role**
At Devonshire, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Despatch Operative to join our team. As a key member of our production services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our despatch process.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles, moving consumables and items of mail packed on pallets and Yorkes from the unchecked mail area to their designated checked mail lanes.
• Performing daily equipment checks, for example recharging the truck's battery, checking trucks for damage and conducting forklift truck safety inspection checks.
• Helping the goods in team to load and unload trucks where necessary, performing other warehouse tasks like taking incoming goods from couriers.
• Printing labels for our production floor teams, using online systems to produce invoices and end of day reports, using MI system to monitor the progress of jobs at all stages, conducting consumables count and updating excel spreadsheet.
**Requirements**
• Previous Warehouse/Despatch/Production experience
• IT Literate & competent in the use of MS Excel
• Valid counter balance forklift truck licence
