The Job
We are seeking an Agricultural Sales Administrator to assist in running the firm's Online & On Site Sales.

The department runs agricultural machinery and associated equipment sales through Online timed auctions with items entered from across the whole of the South West.

Stags Agricultural Sales department also runs On Site agricultural machinery sales, as well as three livestock markets being South Molton, Honiton and Tavistock.

The position is office based in our South Molton office.

Responsibilities

  • Putting online sale lots onto the system, invoicing and organising purchased item collections
  • Use of sales (Bidpath) and invoicing (Newline) software, training will be given
  • Promotion of all sales including social media posts (ie Facebook)
  • Updating the departments website pages
  • Updating customer databases
  • General office administration including answering incoming calls

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • An agricultural background and an understanding of auctions is preferred
  • Able to deal directly and professionally with customers
  • Team player and trustworthy
  • Organised with a high level of attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of IT
  • Adaptable
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion
