Senior Bioinformatics Scientist

Founded 5 years ago this Cambridge based biotech are developing revolutionary genomic technologies that improve the lives of cancer patients through early diagnosis.
You will be an experienced Bioinformatician, with roots in maths and statistics. You'll need to be well versed working with NGS data and developing bioinformatics tools for clinical interpretation.
This role has a high level of impact, as you will be developing and implementing bioinformatics solutions across the whole product pipeline.
Providing insights into data that improves assay performance.
Develop high quality code.
PhD in computational biology/bioinformatics/other related field
Post doc or industry experience post PhD
Strong background in maths and statistics
Experience processing, analysing and interpreting NGS data
Proficient programming skills (Ideally Python)
Familiarity with standard software engineering tools (Jira, Git, CI/CD)
Exposure to Cloud environments (Ideally AWS)
