By becoming a member of the Site Procurement Operations Team, you will have the chance to lead and execute strategic Procurement projects for our internal Business Partners, at various levels from local to European.



As a Site Procurement Manager, you'll collaborate in a team setting with Internal Amazon stakeholders, diverse Procurement peers, and external vendors, to acquire valuable solutions for the Business.



You'll be part of a versatile team within one of our logistics sites, playing a key role as a strategic Business Partner.



You'll promote continuous improvement, innovation, risk prevention, and sustainability through your Procurement endeavors.



Key job responsibilities:
  • Comprehend business needs and ensure justified requirements, analyze and provide recommendations to the business, manage complex projects with high spends, risks, confidentiality, and time constraints in an ambiguous environment across multiple sites;
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships, ensure high service levels in terms of scope analysis, negotiate with vendors on costs, lead times, and other key aspects for projects at different levels;
  • Utilize various applications and systems to offer accurate metrics, reporting, and data including supplier performance metrics, enhance tools to analyze spending opportunities and risks, categories, vendors, legal aspects;
  • Lead the Site Procurement Operations Process from detection of needs and definition to contracting and implementation follow-up, involving sourcing, supplier due diligence, negotiation, risk assessment, using Coupa (ERP) and other tools, manage complex RFI and RFQ across multiple sites and BUs;
  • Create and execute contractual agreements such as Work Orders and Master Supply Agreements, ensure contract compliance from vendors, handle contracts from A to Z mastering CLM (Contract Life Management);
  • Execute and support national and EU-wide procurement projects and initiatives, proactively collaborate with other Global Procurement Teams such as Category, partner with Finance;

Manage and ensure governance on Supplier Performance to maintain high service levels in terms of lead time, quality & maintenance, follow up contracts, support MBR/QBR, identify and capture savings opportunities, perform spend analysis, support strategy definition, work on sustainability goals and processes, contribute to cross-functional teams and initiatives;
  • Meet targeted Key Performance Indicators to deliver value for the business, ensure compliance with company Spending & Transaction policy, educate stakeholders on procurement policies, lead MBR and QBR with main internal and external stakeholders;
  • Act as Country SME for a large category, provide trainings to other Buyers on functional skills.

The Site Procurement Operations team (SPO) collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to provide valuable procurement support and solutions at the heart of operations, working with local stakeholders on complex on-site projects.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree with Procurement or Supply Chain or significant Procurement experience,
  • Relevant experience in a Procurement environment,
  • Proficient computer literacy in MS office suite,
  • Qualifications and/or experience in sourcing, contract management, or equivalent role,
  • Negotiation skills (internal and external)
  • Contract management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Degree with Procurement or Supply Chain focus.
  • Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization.
  • CIPS/EIPM accreditation or equivalent functional knowledge or accreditation.
  • Experience with ERP (SAP/Coupa)
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects, strong communication, organization, time management, analysis methodology, problem-solving skills,
  • Highly self-motivated and customer-centric,
  • Supplier Relationship Management,
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to identify complex issues, develop & deliver solutions,
  • Manage stakeholders across multiple business functions, sites, regions, and business units.
