OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU


The Subtitling Coordinator will involve creating, building, encoding, and mastering 'first-look' pre-release content across multiple platforms, as well as delivering exclusive trailer content for each campaign.

It will also entail creating theatrical trailers to be shown in cinemas before feature films.

The team's main focus is to coordinate a global 'day-and-date' launch, reaching over 60+ markets with 300+ assets for each project.

With the department already involved in some of the biggest titles to launch this year, and many more high-profile projects on the horizon, this is an amazing opportunity to be part of a fast-paced department that delivers our clients' trailer content to the world

Main Duties


Responsible for managing a small teamnExperience of scheduling work in a fast pace environmentnResponsible for coordinating resources to cover holiday and sickness to ensure capacity is maintained.

this would suit someone looking to take the step up to get into managing a department and help shaping its futurenCreating short-form subtitle language projects for Theatrical, Broadcast, Online, VOD and Social MedianManaging incoming subtitle files from a variety of sources & formatsnConforming/importing incoming files and scriptsnReviewing and quality checks of subtitle files (picture overlays) within subtitling softwarenExporting proofs, simulations and final files for mastering - differing frame rates, aspect ratios, platformsnFacilitating client/territory amends and advising on specsnProblem-solving language-related issuesnClosed Caption creationnTranscription of content to CDSL

Requirements

THE SKILLS WILL YOU NEED


Minimum 3 years' experience within a Senior Subtitling rolenExperience of delivering global content across EMEA, LATAM and APAC regionsnExcellent stylistic/writing skills especially in the field of dialogue writing.

Ability to self-review and editnExtensive knowledge of subtitling best practices, particularly for theatrical/online contentnKnowledge of subtitling conventionsnKnowledge of industry standard subtitling softwarenExperienced in localisation post workflowsnExperience of managing a small team would be an advantagenHigh level of attention to detailnAbility to quickly adapt to changing priorities


To be successful in securing this position you should have experience of working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, supporting staff of all levels in order that they can deliver to our clients.
