Job description
It'a a Heahunt are currently seeking support workers to work for a well-established children's home based in Swansea.

Your role would be to:

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals in need of care
  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and day to day activities
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks
  • Transport individuals to appointments or outings as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as childcare, assisted living, or patient care
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
  • Knowledge of medication administration procedures
  • Compassionate and caring nature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
