A flourishing social care company is on the lookout for a proactive and independent Business Administrator who can take control of the admin duties knowing the ins-and-outs of the company, creating an easy and organisational flow.

Overview of the role


Responsible for a wide range of tasks, including maintaining our existing data management systems, general administrative tasks, whilst working closely with all functions in the company to manage the smooth day-to-day operating of the business.

The Business Administrator will be an integral part of the team underpinning the ability for everybody to function within their role.

Job Overview

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General filing and other admin duties
  • Monitor our enquiries inbox
  • Check contracts have been signed, returned and are on file
  • To provide data input support to the inhouse recruitment team.
  • Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation, particular focus on ensuring accuracy of monthly absence figures.
  • Formulate monthly board reports, focusing on new starters, leavers, absence, annual leave, performance management and supervisions)
  • Monthly DBS check review for all employees
  • Update relevant eforms
  • Review all starters and leavers and ensure data is accurately recorded
  • Administer business administration documentation, take minutes, send employment letters, chase required documents.
  • Develop and deliver archiving solution for personnel files
  • Effectively communicate key employee messages via Sharepoint (Job opportunities, congratulatory messages, Wellness Wednesdays, etc).
  • Format data in readiness to be uploaded to a new system.
  • Cleanse, merge and the migrate data from a variety of locations.
  • To ensure confidentiality at all times.

Office Administration:

  • To work with the other office staff to ensure that every incoming call is answered in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
  • To work with the other office staff to welcome visitors to iMap.
  • Receive and relay promptly any telephone messages both internal and external.
  • Any other administrative tasks as required.

Skills and Experience:

  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word Software
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Office administration and organisation
  • Good record keeper
  • Accurate, methodical approach to work
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on unfamiliar tasks
  • Be selfmotivated and committed to the role.
