Shift Patterns: 8:00pm-8:00am
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the rights of the young people are upheld and promoted at all times in accordance with the principles of choice, respect, dignity and privacy.
- Ensure that all issues relating to the safeguarding of vulnerable children and/or adults are reported according to policies and procedures and in accordance with the safeguarding policy.
- Ensure that if there are significant changes to individual service users' needs these are raised with the Service Manager.
- Promote young people's involvement in all areas including service delivery, quality assurance and organisational development.
- Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with both internal colleagues and external bodies alike.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of social emotional and behavioural difficulties and how these may impact the lives of the young people that we support.
- Able to inspire and encourage young people to engage in all aspects of daily living.
- An empowering, approachable and resilient worker.
- Confident, influential and inspiring.
