The Role Requirements:
The prestigious Marco Pierre White Steak House Bar Grill Restaurant at the Cube Hotel in Birmingham is looking for a
Host to join the team.
Situated on Level 25, our hotel restaurant can cater for 200+ covers and in addition boasts a roof top terrace, a cocktail bar, three diverse events spaces and 360-degree panoramic views over the city.
You will be responsible for ensuring all guests are greeted, seated and provided with a high level of service throughout their visit.
Duties will include:
- Presenting yourself professionally to promote a hospitable and professional image to the guest with a prompt, caring and helpful attitude.
- To be responsible for welcoming and seating guests to the restaurant in a friendly and caring manner according to the hotel department standards.
- Ensuring a smooth and successful dining experience is delivered to our guests at all times.
- Be a true team player be proactive in helping colleagues across different departments and roles.
- Maintaining up to date knowledge on menu items and current promotions in order to be able to recommend and communicate offerings to the guest to enhance experience.
- Ensuring brand standards are always met for great service delivery.
- Deal with any reasonable requests form guests in a professional manner.
- Strive to anticipate customer needs and where possible react to theses to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Showcase a welcoming, professional, warm and bubbly personality
- Be an expert in handling all guest feedback positive and negative.
- Managing the booking sheets.
- Be fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel and whenever appropriate, offer this information to the guest.
