The Role

As a Team Member in the Manufacturing & Productiondepartment at KP Snacks, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficientoperation of our production line. Your primary responsibility will be to assistin the manufacturing process, working alongside a team of dedicatedprofessionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machinery to produce high-qualitysnacks

Follow standard operating procedures to ensure productconsistency and safety

Perform quality checks to maintain product standards

Assist in the packaging and labelling of finished products

Maintain a clean and organised work area

Collaborate with team members to achieve productiontargets

Clean Inspect Lubricate (CIL)

Know the CILs (Clean, Inspect and Lubricate) for theirarea and support their completion with support

Support initial CIL work which can be intense to restorethe equipment to base conditions

Defect Handling

Seeks to find defects within their area and log these

Track/report losses in the equipment

Contributes to and track the defect list for their area

Autonomous Maintenance

A Team Member may support basic maintenance tasks andchange overs with support

Maintain 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardise,Systemise) standards of appearance for equipment/area

Participate in PSI [JD1] for any modifications/additionsto equipment

Complete further AM (Autonomous Maintenance) steps onequipment as appropriate

Working in an IWS site

Team Members need to be able to:

Talk with other Team Members, Equipment Owners and theTeam Captain on their shiftRead and understand the IWS Boards at the beginning ofeach shift to remain up to date with developmentsBe connected to the site and provide suggestions and inputto suggested changes (CILs, Centre Lines process, defects, culture etc.)Provide support to new recruits or agency workersProvide input to shift action plans for their area
