Role Overview: The Operational Resilience Team at MUFG plays a key role in maintaining effective frameworks for Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, and Crisis Management. As the Vice President, you will be responsible for developing and managing these frameworks in alignment with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Build awareness and understanding of Operational Resilience across the organization
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage Important Business Services and Critical/Important Functions
  • Monitor and assess supply chain resilience
  • Conduct testing activities and develop response plans
  • Assess vulnerabilities and define remedial actions
  • Contribute to Regulatory Self-Assessment

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Technical knowledge: Understanding of Operational Resilience Policy Statements and EU requirements, experience in Operational Risk and Business Continuity
  • Leadership skills: Ability to identify and resolve risks, project management expertise
  • Communication & Influencing skills: Advocate for operational resilience, strong interpersonal skills
  • No qualifications required; qualified through experience

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Operational Resilience with oversight activities
  • Contribute to the Operational Resilience team's performance
  • Design and implement the Operational Resilience framework
  • Develop short and medium-term objectives
  • Ensure alignment with budget expectations
  • Analyze risk and effectiveness of reporting arrangements
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Enhance staff training initiatives
