Main duties:

  • Work autonomously to provide a comprehensive, high level administrative and support service to the Executive Directors.
  • Manage one or more of the Board's subcommittees and/or management committees including the preparation of agendas and minutes and taking appropriate followup action as required.
  • Work flexibly as a member of the executive administrative support team, covering for colleagues as and when required, to ensure a smooth, efficient and effective Executive Support Service.
  • Work with Executive Assistants to organise and manage the Directors' office, using discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Provide a comprehensive and high level administrative and support service to the Directors.
  • Manage and prioritise the workload effectively, including electronic mail and post, diary management, meeting arrangements, communications from patients, staff and key stakeholders, document production, maintain record systems and other general office duties.
  • Work as a member of the team, using judgement and knowledge of Directors' priorities in management of workload and decision making.
