Who are we?


Performance Glass Processing Ltd are a manufacturer of high-quality double-glazed units and processor of fire rated and acoustic glass products servicing customers across the whole of the UK.


Job Role
The purpose of the role is to support and to compliment our well established and hard-working team.

We are looking for a Toughening Plant Operator with previous and demonstrable experience with operation and running of a glass toughening furnace.

This is a permanent full-time position with varied roles which will require flexibility and a cross sections of skills throughout the working day.

  • A flexible approach to your working hours to help meet customer demand and support the needs of the business.

Due to operational growth and customer demand we are looking for addtional glass toughening plant operators with the following skills;

  • Toughening Plant Operation (program selection, adjusting operational settings to achieve exceptional quality on the finished product).
  • Flat bed crossbelt arrissing of glass.
  • Loading and unloading an upright glass washer.
  • Loading and unloading of the furnace.


In keeping with all our team members, there will be a requirement to keep the factory clean and tidy, prepare goods for dispatch.


Other Information
We are looking at a start date as soon as possible.

Must have own safety boots.

Salary:
Wage negotiable depending on experience.


Glass processing is a potentially hazardous environment, and safety must take priority when working with stock and cut sized glass.
