Position Summary:

We are seeking a Vice President for European Financial Control to join our dynamic team in London. As a key member of our Finance and Corporate Governance division, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity and providing strategic guidance across our European operations.

Join a prominent global player in the finance sector as our Vice President, European Financial Controller. This position is pivotal in ensuring adherence to internal and external accounting standards while offering strategic financial counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial accuracy and compliance across Europe, adhering to US and Local GAAP standards.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance for mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and operational controls, including SOX and corporate governance standards.
  • Lead and inspire financial teams to achieve high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance financial processes and systems for improved business support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years in senior financial roles, preferably in a multinational corporation.
  • Active certification as a CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning ability in complex business environments.
  • Proficiency in financial software and strong leadership skills.
