We are currently seeking a motivated Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at Central Support in Fareham. This opportunity is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover parental leave.

We need a dedicated and experienced financial accountant to assist the finance director with essential financial information to drive the business forward. This includes providing accurate and insightful analysis of crucial metrics.


Job Title: Financial Accountant
Company: Central Support

Responsibilities:
  • Performing business performance analysis as instructed by the Finance Director
  • Conducting monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Utilizing financial data to aid in making strategic business decisions
  • Creating and delivering informative monthly departmental cost analyses
  • Assisting in statutory audits, including those from external auditors, banking audits, and ONS surveys
  • Providing weekly bank reports to facilitate lending activities
  • Generating necessary financial reports and analyses

Requirements:
  • ACCA/CIMA qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in financial accounting and analysis
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Confidence and precision in handling and analyzing data
  • Effective organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills across various channels for both internal and external stakeholders
