Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing resource planning and participating in accounting-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Manager and Head of Jurisdiction in delivering a first-class professional service to clients.
  • Deputise for the Senior Manager in their absence when relevant.
  • Manage the timely and accurate production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.
  • Manage the timely and accurate production of monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns.
  • Manage the timely and accurate production of monthly CIS returns.
  • Monitor the quality and service levels of the team, ensuring compliance with ISAE 3402 requirements.
  • Ensure financial statements prepared are in line with UK GAAP/IFRS or other appropriate standards.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Monitor all jobs of the client to ensure timely and efficient completion.

People Management

  • Plan and organize own client portfolio and team time planning.
  • Oversight of appraisals for all team members and conduct appraisals for members of the team.
  • Review current workload and resources.
  • Supervise team in relation to client activities and Crestbridge procedures.
  • Supervise team in relation to time management and prioritization skills.

Time Management

  • Plan and prioritize own and team workflow.
  • Deal with matters in a timely manner.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Understand and comply with relevant organizational policies and procedures, supporting the Senior Manager to manage risks around the accounting function.
  • Understand what is appropriate and acceptable in relation to AML.
