The Role


ESO operates a number of critical services and is going through a major transformation program updating and relocation these services into a new dedicated, secure Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) data Centre, this role will lead various workstreams to test and provide detailed report of each functionality testing in support of the line of business services in on-prem CNI Environment.nThe successful candidate will be Project Manager and liaise with stakeholders from multiple vendors, NG internal groups s as well as CNI operations and line of business delivery teams to ensure successful outcome for the projects.


Key responsibilities:
Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projectsnDecide on suitable strategies and objectivesnCoordinate cross-project activitiesnLead and evaluate project managers and other staffnDevelop and control deadlines, budgets and activitiesnApply change, risk and resource managementnAssume responsibility for the program's people and vendorsnAssess program performance and aim to maximize ROInResolve projects' higher scope issuesnPrepare reports for program directors

Your Profile

Key skills/knowledge/experience:


Proven experience in scheduling large-scale successful SCADA transformation projects from initiation to completion.nMust have scheduled multiple complex projects concurrently before.nMust be used to scheduling within an outsourced multi-Supplier environment where many different parties are providing the needed inputs.nMust be able to demonstrate they can set-up the schedule and constructs from inception to build out the schedule.nTrack record in presenting program progress, planned activities and the overall schedule in a number of IT and business forumsnFunctional knowledge of Utilities / Manufacturing / Mining businessnExperience working with onsite-offshore model.

Awareness of associated challenges and how to address these challenges.nAbility to build trusting relationships with all key stakeholders, including business representatives, program management, project team members and third-party suppliersnAbility to confidently lead workshops or individual meetings to allow the program to be planned successfully.nAbility to represent the Program in key operational forums to assist in gaining approval for changing windows.nA "here's what I need to succeed" mind-set versus "here is a problem" mindset.nA highly organised and detail-oriented approach.

nManage project commercial / estimations

Good to have:
Functional Understanding of the Power Transmission and DistributionnPMP certification / relevant certification preferrednExperience on OSI Monarch SCADA system
