To input patient information on to clinical systems, oversee the administration of patient records and systems and ensure data quality.

Code and link each problem appropriately into a patients record, paper or electronic.

  • Ensure that the filing and recording of patient information is promptly handled with care and in line with practice policies and procedures
  • Workflow to appropriate team/clinician for detailed actions identified on the correspondence
  • Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with the practice procedures
  • Participate in ongoing formal training in accordance with national standards and Practice requirements to update and maintain skills and knowledge.
  • Promote and improve awareness of clinical coding, communicating to clinical and management staff the complex rules of coding and its financial effects.
Any other duties deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of service delivery

Job Type:
Part-time

Salary:
£10.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
