Job Information

SEMH and Behaviour Specialist

£40,000 to £45,000 per annum + mileage, based on experience

We're looking for a qualified teacher to deliver face-to-face support to schools, predominantly in primary schools in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

Formal experience (or qualifications) in SEMH aren't
a necessity, because full training will be given to the successful applicant. However, you will
need to have a strong interest in SEMH, be driven to improve behaviour and SEMH in schools and have excellent communication and social skills.

Your role will include:

carrying out observations, advice, and writing feedback reports for individual children around their specific needs; supporting teachers with whole class management through observation and feedback; providing training and advice to schools around all aspects of SEMH and behaviour; and more.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

You'll benefit from a high-quality induction, a varied and interesting workload, the opportunity to learn about SEMH from a wide variety of schools and settings, and having a key role in a small, friendly team.

If you're hard-working, flexible and ambitious, and actively want to develop your knowledge and expertise in SEMH, we'd love to hear from you
