Finance Manager, BDUK Contracts
Are you brilliant at stakeholder management and able to communicate clearly and concisely?

If so, you could be a great fit as our Finance Manager (BDUK Contracts), based in London, Birmingham or Bristol.

The Finance Manager partners with the business to provide financial and commercial support and insights to key stakeholders. This role drives optimal business decisions and enhances financial and commercial performance through effective controls.

This role is part of a team at the heart of BT Group's largest strategic investment, dedicated to nationwide Full Fibre deployment.

You'll collaborate with the business and external government bodies, manage commercial risk and government subsidies, and streamline costs through improved controls.

This will help deliver contractual commitments and enable communities to access high-speed fibre broadband.

Commercial bid and decision support: Provide bid, in-life commercial and financial support to regional directors within the Commercial and Chief Engineer organisation.

Influence team financial decisions by offering robust financial and commercial insights.
Work closely with commercial, operational, and transformation/innovation teams to comprehend and model the long-term delivery plan. Provide financial insights crucial to decision-making processes.
Highlighting risks & opportunities & driving actionable improvement plans.

Financial performance:

This includes a full range of financial accountabilities linking operational metrics (productivity, volume delivery) to financial performance along with complying with bid requirements.

Providing supporting reporting & analysis to drive decision making and allow the team to optimise for efficiencies.

Telling the story of programme business performance to multiple finance & non-finance audiences at all levels inside and outside of the business, with supporting data and analysis at the right level of detail.

Pragmatic team player, adept at holding others to account through a challenging and supportive style, whilst consistently delivering on their own commitments
An ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects, working to tight deadlines.
