The role
As a Project Assistant, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will oversee the full lifecycle (from quotation to delivery) to ensure that it's a streamlined process from end-to-end.


Day-to-day, you'll deliver key project management functions in support of the overall project delivery, including schedule, financial and risk functions.


  • Management and delivery of several (Circa 80) ongoing enquiries and orders received into the Spares and Kitting department.
  • Support the development of accurate and uptodate financial reporting to support Business reporting to senior management.
  • Manage the planning, monitor and control of work packages being delivered by other internal and external resources.
  • Undertake aspects of stakeholder management and communications activities including visit to sites and support development of stakeholder management plans.
This position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.


This role is full time OR part time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

This role is based at Leicester, Leicestershire or Bristol, Avon.

Essential experience of the Project Assistant:

  • Enthusiastic about getting into Projects—with an appreciation towards what a Project lifecycle consists of.
  • Experience in a project environment, or warehousing, would consider school leavers looking to get into a career.

Qualifications for the Project Assistant:

  • Keen to learn and happy to work towards APM qualification.
