About the Role

  • Organising meetings and conference calls to defined meeting requirements, liaising with hosts and sponsors, managing bookings, invitations and agenda
  • Virtual meeting management or onsite management if required.
  • Notetaking to facilitate minutes
  • Assisting colleagues in follow up of activities arising from meetings
  • Managing the administration of Working Groups, procedures and documentation on the
  • Provide support to the Working Groups marketing team, Working Group Directors and Head of Working Groups.


This role will also largely involve providing administrative support to our Security Accreditation Scheme team who work alongside our Fraud and Security Working Group.


Duties for this will include:

  • Schedule audits (first / renewal / repeat/ wet / scope extensions) through liaison with auditees and auditors
  • Maintain SAS spreadsheet by logging all audit administration & status. Ensure SAS audit schedule is aligned with auditing companies.
  • Exchange and arrange signature of legal agreements
  • Raise fixed fee invoice requests for issue to auditees
  • Work with Finance to provide any additional GSMA information or documents requested by scheme participants as a prerequisite to pay SAS invoices.
  • Submit PO requests for auditor fees and audit expenses
  • Raise expense invoice requests for issue to auditees
  • Track payments. Monitor and followup with auditees on overdue invoices
  • Save all SAS documentation in wellstructured shared folders
  • Formally notify auditees of audit results following internal quality review of reports
  • Create and issue SAS certificates
  • Maintain list of accredited sites on SAS website
  • Request and log audit feedback forms
  • Issue letters to auditees confirming status of progress towards SAS accreditation (occasionally, in response to auditee request)
  • Review SAS status with SAS manager on a regular basis.
About You

  • Experience working in a servicefocused organisation
  • Be organised and systematic, able to follow set protocols
  • Be a good team player with flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to respond to the demands of working for highlevel GSMA Officers
  • Ability to build relationships across the organisation as a whole.
  • Good stakeholder management to build relationships with Working Group members
  • Have a good telephone manner, writing skills, and the ability to understand and communicate instructions clearly
  • Be proficient (intermediate level or above) in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Be able to demonstrate good customerfacing skills, be cool and friendly under pressure, understand cultural diversity and tailor behaviour and communication style when dealing with people of different cultures
