About Our Client:

Join a dynamic and innovative small manufacturing organisation based in Newbury. They pride themselves on their commitment to excellence and their dedication to delivering high-quality products to their clients.

As they continue to expand, they are seeking a temporary Finance Assistant to join their team for a minimum 6-month contract, with potential for extension.


  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, expense claims, and payments.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support monthend and yearend closing processes.
  • Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, data entry, and general office duties.

The Successful Applicant:

  • Immediately available or available within short notice.
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
