Treatment Room Higher Clerical Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Hunter Health Centre for a part time (34hrs) Higher Clerical Officer within the Treatment room department.
Please note:
- This is a part time post and the salary for this position will be prorata.
The Higher Clerical Officer will work in accordance with standard operating procedures and provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently.
Knowledge, Training and/or Experience required to do the job
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in an Administrative and Clerical role.
- Educated to Higher Grade level.
- Ability to supervise staff.
- Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Understanding of a range of procedures and processes.
- Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative whilst under pressure.
- Proficient I.T. skills which include a working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times.
- Care experienced applicants are people who live/have lived with foster parents/kinship carers or who live/have lived in a residential children's setting/secure unit.'
