First Achieve Ltd is a dynamic engineering company seeking an innovative and experienced Engineering Reliability Director to oversee our client's engineering department and drive the development of cutting-edge solutions to meet customer needs.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • **Lead the Engineering Department:** Oversee all technical activities, ensuring that projects meet customer requirements with innovative, practical solutions.
  • **Collaborate Across Teams:** Work closely with management, production, and sales to align project specifications and procedures with customer needs.
  • **Project Management:** Coordinate projects, direct technical activities, and assess feasibility based on technology, resources, and market demand.
  • **Implement new approaches in automation, design standards, and internal policies, ensuring the department operates at peak efficiency.
  • **Recruit and Develop Talent:** Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering growth and continuous development within the department.
  • **Quality Commitment:** Ensure the ongoing development and implementation of our quality management system, adhering to customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements (CE Marking, PED, ATEX).

**Requirements:

  • **Degree/Higher Apprenticeship in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
  • ~5+ years in mechanical engineering, preferably with leadership or mentoring experience.
  • ~ Strong background in mechanical engineering design and analysis for industrial rotating machinery (pumps, mixers).
  • ~ Expertise in SolidWorks and familiarity with analysis techniques (manual or finite element).
  • ~ Solid understanding of engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices.
  • ~ Strong skills in interpreting engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
  • ~ Proficiency in SolidWorks, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
