Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to customers in the community.
- Provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the Registered Manager/ Care Coordinator.
- To ensure and maintain a safe working environment, whilst considering policies and procedures relating to COSHH, and Health and Safety at Work.
- To deliver values of equality and opportunity, quality of service and to meet the specific needs of our clients irrespective of their demographic.
- To ensure flexibility in availability of time to meet the needs of our clients at any given time. This includes Twilight hours (12am4am) where calls may come in which require our services during these hours.
- To support and enable Service Users to maintain skills and interests whilst delivering personcentered care unique to each individual.
- To maintain skills at a current level, undertake such training and development as required from timetotime to maintain and progress knowledge.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning.
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
- Monitor client's condition and report any changes to the supervisor.
- Assist with medication management.
- Assist with meal preparation.
Salary:
£10.75-£11.00 per hour
