This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in accountancy.
You will be working with a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants who can guide you through the start of your journey in accountancy.
After you have successfully completed 6 months probation, the company will fund your AAT qualification.As a Service Charge Accountant you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager by:
Managing the accounting function for a portfolio of properties
Delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers
Producing an annual set of accounts
This role reports to the Service Charge Accounting Team Leader
You are currently working within a customer service or administrative role, and have an interest in developing a career within accountancy.
You will have excellent administration skills, gained within an office enviroment. You will have excellent skills in MS Excel, and are confident manipulating data in spreadsheets.

Deliver year end accounts to residents in a timely fashion
Carry out the necessary transactions to ensure a smooth accounting process for accounts
Resolve issues on accounts and ensure a quality service is provided to customers/ clients
Adopt a proactive approach at all times to audit and accounts, liaising with analysts/ managers on areas of concern
Take full responsibility of your own development and contribute positively and effectively to the team through creative ideas, tested processes or feedback from colleagues/ external parties.
