Our client is a well known and established Tier 1 Contractor specializing in New build Residential schemes across London and the south east.

Due to expansion, they have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join the team on a large development in Hounslow, West London.

Project information:

Once completed, this project will be made up of 700 new build apartments across 5 concrete blocks (due to finish end of

You will have exposure to all stages of the build working closely alongside the Project Lead.

Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing units from cradle to grave.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance on site.
  • Co-ordinating labour and resources on site
  • Manage material levels on site to ensure the minimum amount of stock.
  • Ensuring that all plots are built to the highest standard of quality.
  • Undertaking company directed quality control procedures and inspections.
  • Monitoring and controlling the cost of production, and approving payment to contractors and trades where appropriate.
  • Initiating and attending plot inspections with the Local Building Inspector.
  • Liaising proactively with other internal departments, externals suppliers and partners to ensure the build programme is achieved.
  • To deliver a high standard of site presentation at all times.

Suitable candidates must have:

  • Residential Contracting experience
  • Stable career history
  • Valid CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid etc
  • Social Housing experience
  • RC Frame experience
